Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin (PSMZA)Polytechnic was formerly known as the Terengganu Dungun Polytechnic (PDT) . It was founded in 2001 at the foot of Bukit Bauk , Dungun , Terengganu . Built on a 100-acre site, the polytechnic can accommodate up to 5000 students at a time. Meanwhile, the students’ homes can accommodate up to 1300 students at a time.
Leading the way as a graduate production facility in various fields of engineering, PSMZA has four master departments: –
- Electrical Engineering Department
- Civil Engineering Department,
- Department of Mechanical Engineering, and
- Department of Information Technology
As well as three support departments: –
- Department of Mathematics, Science and Computers and
- Department of General Studies
- Department of Sports and Curriculum
PSMZA offers 9 programs at the Diploma level and 5 programs at the Certificate level.
To further facilitate the teaching and learning process as well as administrative matters, several other units were created that had their respective roles such as Counseling & Career Unit, Training & Advanced Education Unit, Administration Unit and more.
